Sixth day of the challenge.
It’s late again. Or soon. I did the meditation and the walk one after the other. It was great. I explain more, later.

Meditation helps to focus, to control our tempers.

This morning I was barely conscious when I wrote my post. It wasn’t the brightest post, but I had written it. I don’t know what happened that wasn’t saved or I erased it foolishly. I had to leave a record of the day, so as not to miss the challenge, and that’s why of the content above. I’m going to expand the information because the truth is that it has been a very interesting day from the point of view of the challenge.

I worked from 11 to 5, which is not too much and left me the night off. I left the pub and headed for my neighborhood. I had to walk for 30 minutes, so I took an alternative road to my house. I went straight to the trees I discussed on day 4.

They are in a street that runs “parallel” to the main road, but that is a descent, since there is a notable unevenness in the land. I had never investigated that area before, so I proceeded to browse. I’m glad I did because I discovered a nice place. Between high residential buildings that climb the slope, traditional individual houses, and alleys, a space with grass, a clothesline, and some trees opened up. Two turtledoves cuddled up when I arrived. I cut the roll a little and they flew to another place. My walk continued along the path illustrated in the post. There is a church, Greenside Parish Church, which I have been to once during the Fringe, watching one of my favorite shows: Hedwig and the angry inch. I arrive at London Road Park and start walking under the trees. Again, the effect is immediate. I feel in my mind that a weight is lifted, that I flow better with what I find, trying not to read too much into things or about doing them. Along the way I found blackbirds, a couple looking for food together, very cute. I watched them in silence until I felt that they perceived that I was spying on them and I cut the roll too. I found daisies and mushrooms on the road, the grove was full of life. I looked up and saw it, the perfect place to meditate and not be disturbed. Climbing up the slope of the hill a few meters there was a stump of a tree, hidden between branches of a living neighboring tree.

I settled down, more or less comfortable, and proceeded to meditate for 30 minutes.
Well, meditating outdoors is fine, but it has drawbacks, it is physically more uncomfortable. Finding the position took me a while, and if I relaxed a lot my body would fall forward… and in front of me there was a fall of at least 3 meters. The occasional paranoia that a fly has put on my face, or some tickling hair, were distractions. But I must say it was exceptional! I had done long meditations before, and I remember that the feeling of time, when you meditate, tends to disappear. When you really relax and let meditation guide you you lose track of time and even if you meditated for an hour the time has flown, even though you have experienced a complete experience. Paradoxical. Yesterday I felt this, for the first time since I started the challenge. It is wonderful to observe the forest and how its fauna socializes with each other. At the end of the meditation I returned home with a great inner calm.

And I prepared for the rave on the beach I later went to. Great party, with magick, and lots of dancing, until dawn filling the sky with colors and light!
It has to be mentioned that here, in Edinburgh, it dawns around 3:30 in the morning at this time of year.
I went home with Laura, a little drunk and needing to write my post.

Yesterday’s reflections: Committing to something/someone is super positive because it helps you to improve, so it’s important to choose intelligently what/someone you commit to, since sometimes we commit to doing something/someone that makes us feel bad at the end of the day which doesn’t help create anything, it just steals energy!

But I am a source of energy! Light a fire and invoke the drums that the party does not stop while is sun or moon in the sky.
