It was a long day, but the evening repaid of all the weariness of yesterday and today. I started off low, still shaken by my emptiness from yesterday, angry because I didn’t want to work. As soon as my shift ended I ran to the park, lying on the grass and trying to let it all absorbe me down. I did 15 minutes meditation. Closing my eyes and lifting my hands above my head, I felt my arms, my hands and my legs tingling. I think I fell asleep, lost in the feeling of being annihilated in the sun, the earth, the grass. I woke up feeling a bit better, and had to run back to work for an emergency, but I was able to face the afternoon thanks to this regenerative embrace from Gaia.

In the evening I saw Susana, we worked on our projects for a while and we celebrated the successful goal of completing half of the challenge! We treated ourselves to Spanish (delicious) dinner, and we read cards to each other. I did 15 more minutes of meditation feeling a strong aligned spine and good mental awareness.

At night we did our conscious walk together, under the rain, going up to Calton Hill and carrying a lantern we lit up to honour Ganesha, prosperity, and Saturn and the Norns, time. We sat under the columns of the observatory, did harmonics, overlooking the sea and the lightning storm, listening to the rain and feeling the occasional drops on the skin. It felt magical and electrical. I’m back and ready to sleep now, and I brought the lantern with me.

The candle is still burning.
