Mist all around, a different dimension. A strong rain came today and the humidity made Edinburgh the mysterious, foggy, dreamy city that Scotland is known for.

The walk towards Calton Hill seemed longer, going around in the white, thick, condensed air feels like moving under water.

The top of the buildings were covered in white, like in the most magical or intriguing stories. Sherlock Holmes or Peter Pan? Both worlds, and many more, seem possible when nothing is defined.

Reaching the hill, above the hidden city, only the grass, the trees, the monuments half enveloped in a big, low cloud. Silence, muffled talk of a few tourists. Only the birds voices are strong and clear, through the mist.

To go back down and feel all the hustle and traffic and the energy of people busy walking about was unpleasant, kind of disturbing.

The day was restful, I spent the rest of it hidden and secure in my room. The meditation of 30 minutes just before sleep was immediate and easy. My spine was strong and rigid, the muscles of neck, shoulders and arms relaxed autonomously in less than a minute. The mind was content and tamed.

Today a strong magic was inside, because the outside was covered up.
