Low energy today, after another restless night. I think the meditation, repeated consistently everyday, is improving my levels of energy, which means I need less sleep. Interesting, I will have to adapt to the new rythm.
Waking up, the 30 minutes of meditation went ok, but it was hard to get back into the body. I had to use breathing exercises regularly to keep my focus.
The rest of the day was sunny and slow. I walked way over half an hour, passing through the park and then Morningside, a very nice neighborhood in Edinburgh, enjoying the sun and the pink warm lights until late in the evening.
I listened to a mandolin concert, a friend of mine was playing with her little orchestra. I got lost in the vital but soft sounds that completely matched my mood and felt the need to sing afterwards. Unfortunately, I wasn’t alone, and being very self-conscious, I didn’t do it….
My body feels tired now, but my mind is not ready to sleep. I will try to stay up longer tonight, and see if I sleep better.
Another day, another night.
