Long walking day. After a morning meditation (with nice white space in the mind) Susana and I set off to North Berwick, with the idea of walking the coast towards Edinburgh. Of course, not before a big lunch with soup, toasties and nachos. The day was mostly grey, sometimes it was raining, but it wasn’t cold and the walk was nice, hilly and easy. We picked up stones, on the way, to throw back to the sea at the end of the walk. We enjoyed walking and observing our surroundings for hours, almost completely alone along the sandy beaches and the hills, the water sound soothing and relaxing as the sea was calm and almost flat. We met a lot of snails on the way and, among the many birds, some crows, a heron and an owl(!). We found pleasant surprises on the way: a little sheltered bench made out of driftwood hosted us during the first rain, some ruins later on, a little misterious forest, a quiet and clean pind and, just at last, a wooden bridge crossing a river estuary into the Firth of Forth. We completed a liberation ritual along the way and we meditated 15 minutes on some weird cubes made out of stone. The meditation was good, I felt grounded and the vibrations were strong in my heart and my stomach. I feel satisfied and I wish I’d had time to walk more, but after a hot shower is now time for bed, as (alas!) I work tomorrow morning…
